New Traffic Pattern starting on Saturday, May 3, 2025 – Expect Delays. West Fork Construction will be paving the bridge starting on May 3. The new traffic pattern will occur because crews will be moving the temporary traffic signal from the south side to the north side; and when the new traffic alignment is completed, the delays will return to being shorter again (1-3 minutes).
Over 90 days, crews will upgrade portions of the current bridge and repair the pavement where the bridge meets the roadway. During this time, a temporary traffic signal will direct alternating single-lane traffic.
Motorists should plan to make a full stop at the signal and wait for the green light prior to traveling through the work area. Speeds through the area will be reduced and delays could be up to 10-minutes. On average, most drivers are experiencing a 3-minute delay.
Previously, we announced that motorists traveling westbound would not have through access to the Castle Pines and I-25 interchange during construction. Following feedback from our local partners and community, we found a solution to keep eastbound and westbound traffic open.
