The Engineering Division of the Public Works Department works in accordance with sound engineering principles and practices providing oversight, roadway design and construction, rural road design, operation, maintenance, and implementation of infrastructure and program needs for Douglas County in compliance with adopted criteria, policies, and procedures, including the 2040 Transportation Master Plan.
