Live Town Halls

Your quality of life and your opinion matter in Douglas County. That’s why the Board of Douglas County Commissioners wants to continue the conversation about short-term rentals – like those found on VRBO or Airbnb – in unincorporated areas.

The Board has been hearing from property owners who would like to rent their homes for short-term use, such as vacationing or for traveling nurses, and those who would prefer short-term rentals not to be allowed in their neighborhood. Douglas County’s Zoning regulations allow only limited opportunities for this type of activity. View the Project Page by clicking here.
