All passport fees are set by the U.S. Department of State. All payments to the U.S. Department of State must be in the form of check or money order. Each application submitted must have its own check or money order. Temporary or counter checks are not acceptable forms of payment to the Department of State. Fees payable to Douglas County may be check, cash or credit. Payments made by credit card incur a small convenience fee from the service provider.
