Roadway
Asphalt overlay, curb and gutter repairs, and rotomilling have been completed on all roads in the Spruce Mountain subdivision during spring/summer 2022.
The 2022 street paving program in Douglas County includes streets in Spruce Mountain Estates. See the 2022 Street Paving Map for specific locations.
On each street, work will be done in two phases – the first phase consists of rotomilling to remove some of the top layer of asphalt, which generally takes two to four hours or less per block to complete. The second phase follows rotomilling by one to two weeks and includes placing the new overlay; this last phase may take four to eight hours to complete.
During construction, access to driveways is allowed, with occasional short delays. Notification to adjacent residents/businesses will be delivered via mail and door hangers with the start dates of the project. No parking signs will be posted along streets scheduled for work. Construction hours will be Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
NOTE: If your vehicle was towed because it was left in the construction zone, please contact Westside Towing at 303-688-5244 for information on where your car was towed.
