Phase 3B Detour Map
With the upcoming closure switch, access into the neighborhood(s) on the South side of Poston Pkwy. will be required to follow the detour route using Windridge Cir. to Poston Pkwy. The Windridge Cir./Pemberly Ave. intersection will be open for access to both the neighborhood(s) and to Wildcat Reserve Pkwy. Detour signage will direct traffic through to Poston Pkwy.
The East side of the Oakshire Ave. and Stonington St. intersection will continue to be closed through to the Chandon Wy./Windridge Cir. intersection for the reconstruction of the Amesbury Wy. intersection. All other intersections, North to Wildcat Reserve Pkwy, will be open to all bicycle, pedestrian and vehicular access.
Construction fencing will continue to be used to guide pedestrians and bicyclists around the outside of the work zone limits during construction. The fencing will be extended, as needed, to the Chandon Wy./Windridge Cir. intersection.
All scheduled concrete construction activities will be dependent upon the ready-mix suppliers ability to supply the project in the daily amounts requested by the contractor and weather conditions.
Please continue to observe the posted “ROAD CLOSED” and “SIDEWALK CLOSED” regulatory signage and DO NOT enter the work zone at any time for your and our safety.
If you have any additional questions about the detour routes or the work itself, please visit the Poston Parkway Virtual Open House page for further information as to what to expect during construction activities and information about the Closure and Detour Routes around the Phase 3A and 3B work zones.
Construction began in June with anticipated completion by mid-October.
