Feed your passion for the outdoors, and desire to give back to your local neighborhood park by helping plant a tree on Saturday, October 22 from 9 a.m. – Noon at Bayou Gulch Regional Park in Parker.
Your desire to serve inspired this event as well as the launch of the County’s Parks Volunteer Program. Individuals and groups of all ages and abilities are invited to join the fun. Submit the volunteer application by October 20, 2022.
This event can qualify for community service.
All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt, water bottle, bag, sunscreen, and lip balm as well as a brief training on how to successfully plant a tree. Volunteers should dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes (no open-toed shoes), and are advised to bring gloves and hats.
Volunteers will assist Parks and Trails staff with digging holes, prepping trees for planting, carrying supplies to planting site(s), mulching and watering.
Please refrain from bringing dogs to the event. Please observe all Parks Rules and Regulations.
