Glendale Farm Open Space, Trail and Dog Park

September 12, 2023 – CORE Electric Cooperative (CORE) and the Board of Douglas County Commissioners worked together to install a new Level 2 charging station at Glendale Farm Open Space in northern Douglas County.  The new station is fully operational and ready for use, thanks to funding from the CORE and the Colorado Energy Office’s Charge Ahead Colorado Grant Program.

Glendale Farm Open Space and Trail is a fun 1.6-mile loop that gently winds up and around the oaks to the high prairie and caprock overlooks.  The Front Range views make the sky look like it never ends.  Don’t forget to leash your dog on the Glendale Farm Trail.

Glendale Farm Dog Park is home to our busiest dog park.   The trail takes advantage of the terrain and gives the dog and owner the sense they have exercised
