If you live in Douglas County, plan to vote in the November election and need in-person assistance, four Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPC) open on Oct. 25.
Why should I visit a VSPC? VSPCs offer Douglas County residents the opportunity to vote in person, use an ADA-accessible voting machine or replace a ballot. After Oct. 25, you must visit a VSPC to register to vote or update your voter registration – prior to that date you may visit DouglasVotes.com.
Vote Early. Near You. If you don’t need assistance, deliver your ballot for free using one of the 20 convenient ballot drop box locations countywide. Safe, secure ballot drop boxes are available 24/7 now through 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 2, 2021.
Where can I find a VSPC? Staff at four VSPC locations are ready to assist you with your election needs from Oct. 19 through Election Day:
- Castle Rock – Douglas County Kirk Hall, 500 Fairgrounds Drive, 80104
- Highlands Ranch – Northridge Recreation Center, 8800 S. Broadway, 80126
- Lone Tree – Lone Tree Motor Vehicle, 9350 Heritage Hills Circle, 80124
- Parker – Parker Town Hall, 20120 Mainstreet, 80138
** Please note that the Douglas County Sheriff Substation in Highlands Ranch is no longer a Voter Service and Polling Center however, there is a ballot drop box at that location.
When can I visit a VSPC? The locations listed above will be open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each weekday through Nov. 1, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, and 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 2.
Not registered to vote but want to be? Colorado election law allows voter registration up to and on Election Day. If you live in Douglas County, plan to vote in the November election and are not registered to vote, do so at DouglasVotes.com through Oct. 25 — after that time you must visit a VSPC.
Know the ballot deadline. No matter how you deliver it, your ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 — an Election Day postmark does not count.
