Interagency Oversight Group (IOG)
Per HB 04-1451, the CMP is overseen by representatives from community agencies and organizations, who choose to partake in the program on an annual basis by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. The IOG is required to have ten mandatory partners in order for a community to opt into the program, however, there is no limit to the number of partners that can sit on the IOG. Community partners can also choose to participate in IOG meetings without having to be a signing IOG member.
The IOG meets every other month to provide oversight and is open to the public. For meeting information including dates and agendas please visit https://douglascountyco.iqm2.com/Citizens/default.aspx click Collaborative Management Program Interagency Oversight Group. The Douglas County Department of Human Services serves as the Employer of Record for the CMP Coordinator and the Fiscal Agent for the CMP. The CMPs statewide are funded from the General Fund and Civil Fees and are provided to CMP sites by the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) on an annual basis.
The IOG created the Prevention Subcommittee in January 2020, to explore how, through collaboration with our partners, the CMP could assist in bringing primary preventative programming to serve children and youth ages 0-21 in Douglas County.
The Prevention Subcommittee meetings are open to the public. For meeting information including dates and agendas please visit https://douglascountyco.iqm2.com/Citizens/default.aspx click Collaborative Management Program Prevention Subcommittee.
The Crossover Youth Subcommittee has been in existence since 2015 and was created as a place where professionals working directly with Crossover Youth population (youth who are involved with the juvenile justice system and crossover into the child welfare system) can discuss Douglas County’s Crossover Youth process and provide feedback/suggestions for improvements to the process.
The Crossover Youth Subcommittee meetings are open to the public. For meeting information including dates and agendas please visit https://douglascountyco.iqm2.com/Citizens/default.aspx click Collaborative Management Program Crossover Youth Subcommittee.
