If you travel Daniels Park Road from Castle Pines Parkway to US 85, we have information that will help you plan your travels.

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 6, weekday travel delays can be expected as crews repave the roadway.

This paving project will occur in two phases:

Phase one will include the removal of the top layer of asphalt. Work will begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6. Daily work will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until Monday, Sept. 12. Delays up to 5 minutes can be expected.

Phase two will include asphalt paving. Work will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19. Daily work will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until Friday, Sept. 30. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected, so alternate routes are advised.

Please slow down, drop the distraction, and watch for crews.

This project was originally scheduled for 2023, but an opportunity to perform the work earlier is now available with the County’s paving contractor. Once this work is complete, the pavement is expected to last more than 20 years.
