Douglas County Sheriff’s Office needs you to get registered!

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has noticed an increase in the number of expired license plates and temporary tags, and vehicles with no license plates on the roads.

Sheriff Tony Spurlock wants to remind everyone; if you own or operate a motor vehicle, it is your responsibility to make sure it is appropriately licensed and insured. If your vehicle is not appropriately licensed and insured, a traffic summons may be in your future. The Sheriff’s Office will be enforcing these violations.

The Douglas County Motor Vehicle Department is ready to help you through the process. Visit DouglasDrives.com today to renew your vehicle registration online or find an MVExpress self-service kiosk – located at six King Soopers stores in Douglas County.

In addition, motor vehicle appointments and walk-in services are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Visit DouglasDrives.com for a complete list of services and customer service options.
