Emergency Shelter


Winter Weather Care is a coordinated intake and assessment developed in Douglas County to assist in identifying shelter options for homeless residents in Douglas County during the winter months.  Women and children may obtain shelter through the Winter Shelter Network offered by local churches.   A limited number of hotel vouchers are also available to those who qualify.  Residents experiencing homelessness can apply for shelter at one of the following agencies:
