This State program is funded through a federal block grant, which provides resources to assist low-income residents. Douglas County works with vulnerable residents to assist them in achieving and maintaining self-sufficiency through a collaborative and supportive framework of care.
The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners voted not to accept CDBG funding at this time. However, the County is still required to report on any existing programs that continue to spend down CDBG funds from previous projects.
