A path out of the pandemic is yours, we can help
The pandemic impacted us all in different ways. Maybe you need to catch up on rent or utilities following a lost job, or you need help finding the right career training for a new direction. Our team with Douglas County’s Pathways to Employment program gets it and is here to help.
Fill out an application to be paired with a case manager and workforce specialist who will help you figure out what’s getting in the way and partner with you on a journey to lasting success. Applications will be reviewed to determine the level of support needed and assigned to one of our local partners to follow up with you and determine your eligibility.
About Rent and Utility Relief
Funds are available to assist qualified Douglas County renters impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with arrears or future utility payments and rent . Payments will be made directly to the utility providers, landlords, or property managers using funds received from the U.S. Treasury Department through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2022.
Please see eligibility details below. Because funds are limited, applicants may be required to pay a portion of what’s owed for rent or utilities. If a waitlist becomes necessary due to the volume of requests, those who are unemployed at the time of application will be prioritized in their placement.
Participants will be required to engage regularly with a program case manager, complete required assessments, develop an individualized plan, participate in workforce or career advancement activities and work toward achieving self-reliance through employment. For more details, please review the Participant Agreement here.
Applications are available in English and Spanish. For other languages please contact Douglas County at 303-660-7460.
The County also offers other various types of assistance, please click to see more.
