Commissioners to provide public comment on continuation of public health services

The Board of Douglas County Commissioners will address the public twice this week as a follow-up to their one-year written notice of intent to withdraw from the Tri-County Health Department, announced on Thursday, July 9 and formalized on Friday, July 10. Comments will include discussion of the Board’s next steps in their continued delivery of public health services to Douglas County.
